The conference titled "Syria, the Wound of the Ummah", organized by our school's Arabic Professional Practice Club, took place in our Topkapı campus.
Our guest, journalist Mehmet Akif Ersoy, gave us a comprehensive presentation about Syria's internal issues, the events in the region, the reasons affecting the events and their consequences.
He informed us about the difficulties faced by the people living in Syria and the psychological conditions of the people in the region.
Towards the end of the program, he answered the students' questions.
Journalist Mehmet Akif Ersoy was given gifts by our University's Health, Culture and Sports Chief Şadiya Yağmurkaya and the Arabic Language Practice Club.
